Formed in 2009, Young Empires is comprised of lead vocalist Matthew Vlahovich, bassist Jake Palahnuk, and drummer Taylor Hill. In February of 2015, Young Empires released their first song in two years, "So Cruel." The song quickly earned rave reviews from the likes of Stereogum and The FADER. Young Empires are preparing the release of their highly anticipated full-length debut, The Gates, in the fall of 2015 via Votiv Music.
